Player fitness can always be improved and in the youth age groups, on full sized pitches fitness and endurance become match winning factors.
In 2007 the England Squad undertook some team building with the Royal Marines before they went off to France to play in the Rugby World Cup. The activities your players could be doing would be more fun than the tough training the Royal Marine Physical Training Instructors put Jonny Wilkinson, Phil Vickery and the team through, but you will achieve great results which will stay with you for years.
